Before this update, anyone can add you to any kind of group. Some people use this feature to mischievously add people and then exiting from the groups. Come on! we all have done it. It’s kind of fun!. The fun is kind of over now. WhatsApp offers 3 different kinds of options regarding adding people in groups. You can allow anyone to add you. You have the option of allowing only your contacts to add you. Only some contacts can be allowed to add in you in a WhatsApp group.
Allowing and Restricting People to Add to a Whatsapp Group:
First of all, Just open the WhatsApp Application. You surely have a WhatsApp Application Right?.
After opening WhatsApp, just go to the menu options. The menu options will become visible after clicking the three dots.
Just click on the settings option.
Click on the Account settings.
Click the Privacy Option.
Furthermore, Click on the Groups.
You will find three options here. Click on the option that best suits your needs.
A few other updates are also available with this update of WhatsApp. These updates include the “Call Waiting” option. In this way, you can put a call on hold, while you are on another call.
A fingerprint option is also available in the latest WhatsApp version. Just by clicking on the “Settings”, a person can use WhatsApp by using his fingerprints to lock and unlock the Application.
